ARCHITECTURAL SOLUTIONS
FOR HOTELS + TOURISM

Diverse projects – from city hotels to vacation parks
The spectrum of our projects in the hotel and tourism sector is wide. It ranges from “tiny houses” and small holiday apartments over vacation homes and complete holiday resorts to imposing city and business hotels with over 250 rooms. Especially in the case of hotel chains, the corporate identity and the specific design of the respective group usually have to be brought to life – from the choice of colour schemes, the arrangement of logos and lettering, to the details in the guest rooms. In hotels, there is frequently a specific idea or theme that runs through all areas of the building and to which everything else is subordinated.

Functional and economic aspects also play an important role in hotel construction – both in new buildings and in the renovation or expansion of existing buildings: Are, for example, the kitchen, bar and dining areas arranged in such a way that good management is possible? On the basis of our concepts we not only take on the planning and supervision of building construction, but also take care of the interior. Our interior designers are concerned with creating an authentic, homey and distinctive atmosphere in which guests feel comfortable and have a good time. With short distances or materials that are easy to clean, we help to ensure that staff also enjoy their work.

HOTEL CONSTRUCTION, ALSO WITH NATURAL ACCENTS

In the hotel + tourism sector, too, the first step is always to identify our target groups: Is a conference area needed and how extensive should it be? What sports and wellness facilities are planned? How can these be reached from the rooms without having to cross areas with a lot of public traffic? Is the appeal focused more on business guests or tourists? Are they more likely to be single travellers, groups or families with children?

Last but not least, the specific location, the size and layout of the property, and the surrounding area all influence the type of construction. For example, a building with a compact floor plan, several floors and an underground garage is more likely to be planned for an inner-city site than for a spacious property in a rural region. One of our core competencies is to combine the advantages of country life close to nature with those of vibrant city life in our architecture. For this reason, we are experts in natural building materials, sustainable concepts and green accents – on hotel roofs or facades, on terraces, in courtyards or in other places to linger and relax.
