Modern office buildings for efficient work
Working in offices has changed enormously in recent years. Modern technology, ventilation, cooling, sustainability and flexibility play an increasingly important role. Additionally, innovative concepts such as co-working spaces are conquering the business world. We have extensive experience with office buildings of all kinds – whether with open or closed structures, whether predominantly individual offices, open-plan offices or call centers, office buildings for one or several tenants, in an urban location or in an industrial park with connected production.
The decisive factor for an office concept is always the employees’ needs. To find out what these are, we prepend a workshop with the team: How does the workforce work and communicate? What office sizes make sense? Are smaller conference rooms or large meeting rooms needed? Is modern technology needed for video conferencing? The answers to these questions help us to find the ideal concept for a company and to implement it down to the smallest detail. This also applies to tenant fit-out planning, where we tailor office spaces in existing buildings to suit a new tenant.

Since large glass fronts are the standard in office buildings these days, we are increasingly focusing our attention on the issue of cooling. With modern cooling concepts, we ensure that employees can work in rooms at a comfortable temperature even in the height of summer. We are also breaking new ground – for example, by integrating green plants on facades or roofs to stimulate air circulation.
Climate neutrality and sustainability are playing an increasingly important role, especially in office construction. The topic of pandemic planning has also moved into focus. Here, too, there are many aspects to consider: How can the spacing of employees and guests be ensured? How can the use of elevators be scaled? In new buildings, there are further possibilities. Among other things, we plan handrails made of copper, to prevent viral transmissions.
